Zenith Pocket Watch

Zenith Pocket Watch

This is a heritage for me! it was given to me by my grandpa when I was a little, I still did not appreciate vintage stuff on that moment, but I just like the style of the watch and can imagine my self to "time travel" with this watch just like a popular tv series when I was a little.
This watch was working well but now it stucks, and I still do not have time to bring it to repair man, but I know that I will keep this watch for all my life.

Favre Leuba Gold Plated - Manual Wind

Favre Leuba Gold Plated - Manual Wind

At the moment this is my only vintage watch with gold plated in yellowish color, this Favre Leuba looks very vintage and a bit luxury look from the past.

History of Favre-Leuba begins in 1718, when watch enthusiast Abraham Favre decided to become a watchmaker. His profession was soon recognized, and his manufactory was officially registered in 1737. The company was passed down through eight generations of Favre family. In 1814, Abraham Favre's grandson Henry-Auguste went into partnership with Auguste Leuba, a watch dealer from Buttes in the Val-de-Travers. The business remained in the same family over eight generations, through to 1969. Then the quartz revolution came along, bringing many changes for the industry.
Favre-Leuba, one of the largest companies of its time, passed through different hands such as Benedom SA and LVMH before finally regaining its independence in 2003. On November 16, 2011, Titan Industries acquired Favre Leuba.

Hamilton Khaki Military

Hamilton Khaki Military - Manual Wind

I've been searching for vintage Hamilton for a long time until my friend also a collector found me this Hamilton, actually I'm not so happy with the size its only 34mm, but the mint condition and well preserve of manual wind 17 jewels american tradition with swiss made movement make me feel like I was one of the army officer having this watch back in the war era.
But simple question in my head, how come they made such a small diameter watch for military, how if they cant see it well during war haha.

Smena 8M (CMEHA)

Smena 8M (CMEHA)

The word “Smena” literally means “Young Generation” in English – an apt name for a line of cameras produced by the esteemed LOMO factory in St. Petersburg, Russia – as it was designed to make photography affordable and convenient to the hardworking young Soviets at the time. Introduced in 1952, the Smena line proved to be very popular, sustaining production until the late 1980s.
The Smena 8M, a fully manual 35mm shootbox, came to light in the early 1970’s. It was lightweight and boxy, feels like a toy camera in your hands.
Surprisingly, for a plastic camera, it’s capable of producing sharp pictures. While the viewfinder is rather useless – it’s just a lens-less, clear frame that’s pretty inaccurate – it has a coated “Triplet” lens that delivers nice saturation and contrast. The fully manual controls (aperture, shutter speed, and focal distance) allow you to create your images as you please. It’s even equipped with a leaf shutter and PC flash sync – enabling flash syncing at various shutter speeds.
This camera is my giant leap to become a camera collector, I was looking for a new Lomo but sudenlly end up with several vintage camera to collect.

West End Watch Co Sowar Prima

West End Watch Co Sowar Prima
Originally formed by Arnold Charpié. The marque was purchased in 1886 by Constant Droz and Arnold Amstutz who developed the brand via their sales centres in Bombay and Calcutta, India.  In 1917, Arnold Amstutz (who was by then the sole proprietor) established a company in Geneva, Switzerland, which took control of the brand.  West End Watches were very popular with British troops in India and the Middle East during the First World War and one was apparently purchased by Lawrence of Arabia!  The Sowar (which means "warlike" in Hindustani) model spearheaded the range since its introduction in 1934 and many, such as this example from circa 1939, bear the broad arrow mark and "C.S.(I)" indicating that they were issued to members of the Civil Service (India)

Rollei 35

Rollei 35
